dear lance,
i can't believe it. you just said yes to all of oprah's questions. i think i am still in shock. it didn't seem real. and now you are unraveling the story. it is stunning. i do feel sorry for you. i don't like what you've done but i understand it better now how it was the perfect storm. you were in an environment where doping was the norm and add that to your competitive personality of must win and bam you're getting the entire team in on it. and then as you said the momentum of you surviving cancer created this story of a hero. there really was no turning back. it must have been exhausting keeping up with the lies. but now you are free and like tiger woods i wonder what you do with all of this as you move forward with your life. we can all wait and watch.
